Pedicures are Good for YOU

Updated: Nov 10

Pedicures are actually good for you.

Seriously.

Pedicures are good for you!

This is why:

1. Prevents infections.

Moisturizing your feet regularly can help keep dry skin at bay. Dry skin causes cracks which makes your feet more prone to infection. Also, the clipping, cleaning, and cutting of your toenails can prevent your nails from growing inward and causing infection.

2. Promotes healthy blood circulation.

During a pedicure, you will receive a massage on your arms, lower legs, and feet. Massage helps promote healthy blood circulation, reduces muscle tension, and any pain you may be feeling, and improves joint mobility.

3. Boosted nail health.

With regular pedicures, the chances of your nails developing fungi and other infections are reduced. Exfoliation removes any dead skin cells and encourages new cell growth, leaving your nails healthier and stronger.

4. Reduction in back pain.

If you have calluses that form on the sides and soles of your feet they can be painful. They can also affect your body weight distribution and cause back pain. During a pedicure I will exfoliate and deep clean your feet. This can help reduce calluses which can help alleviate back pain.

6. Improved mental health.

Let's face it, sitting in that chair having someone take care of your tired dogs (that's what my 16 year old calls them) is a fantastic way to spend an hour. It relaxes you and makes you feel pampered.

Have you scheduled yours yet??
